Josh has nicknamed Daisy "Lil' Monster" because she terrorizes Maggie constantly!  Maggie enjoys when Daisy Lou is asleep because she can play with all her toys without the help of the Lil' Monster!

Hand Magnets

My sister gave me the idea to make handprint magnets.  Thanks Tracy!  First you place a hand with paint onto black construction paper. Let it dry, cut it out (leaving a little bit of the black around the edge), then place it onto magnetic adhesive paper. You can purchase these at Wal-Mart, they come in packs of two (you can do two handprints per sheet of magnetic paper). Then cut around the edges and VOILA! you have a handprint magnet! :)

Sunshine!

The other day we had excellent weather, so we decided to get outside and enjoy the sunshine! It has been a fairly mild winter in regards to the temperature, but the wind has been merciless!

Bird Treat!

While Nana E was here we tried to make a "bird treat." I got the idea from one of my craft magazines, you string cheerios and pieces of bread onto a piece of yarn.  I thought I would be creative and add peanut butter to the bread then roll it in bird seed!  Note to self: do not do edible crafts with your 2 year old (especially ones that involve their favorite food...peanut butter!!).  The craft was a flop...but we had fun doing it (and eating it...haha)!

Haven't seen any birds eating it yet...they are missing out!!

Nana E!!!

This past week Nana E came to visit us! Nana joined us for our weekly activities of playing at the civic center, going to reading time at the library, taking baths, reading books, and watching movies! Thank you Nana for coming to see us, we enjoyed every minute!

Note Holders

This past week Magnolia and I made "Lion and Lamb Note Holders." You can find the instructions here: http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/lion-and-lamb-note-holders-672242/.  We haven't done many projects that require the "runny" glue so Magnolia loved squeezing it out!!
